Sumilda is a proud Cuban American, a naturalized citizen since 2010, an honor for which she is fiercely grateful.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering. She applied her knowledge and skills within the hospitality industry for five years in the administration of major hotel chains. She then advanced to the position of Sales Representative, working six years for the CIMEX corporation. Her proficiency in the art of direct, honest communication has expanded her ability to fulfill a client’s needs.

Since her arrival in America, she has endeavored every day to ensure that her daughter lives a life with the opportunities she was never afforded. Her continued seven-year career as a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent has brought her continued success. Working diligently, in each transaction, she considers individual financial factors, to provide the Latin American community with the highest quality policies. She takes great care meeting every client’s individual needs, understanding that each transaction is as unique as the individuals involved.
