A little about me

Maria has over 34 years of residential and commercial real estate experience with 20 years of international and construction experience. She has negotiated contracts throughout the world to include: the People’s Republic of China, Colombia, South America, and Guatemala. Maria’s real estate clients span the continents, from Asia, the People’s Republic of China, to Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Jordan, Canada, Ecuador, Mexico’s Embassy in D.C., and even corporate - locating offices in the Metropolitan D.C. area for the Bank of Boston, and residential sales for a Hewlett Packard executive. Maria’s real estate achievements include the development of educational material and classes for Spanish speaking clients and the publication of consumer real estate articles in local and international media. Maria’s voice was heard weekly during the 1990’s in her Spanish language real estate program, which aired throughout the DC Metro area at Radio Borinquen. During the 1990’s, she hosted a weekly half hour Spanish language television program on Telemundo devoted to Real Estate education. Her community involvement also extends beyond real estate. She has served on several Associations and Council Board of Directors including: the Northern Virginia Council of the Arts, Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Housing Division of the Northern Virginia Family Services, President of OHLA and Executive Director of ALMAA, in Annapolis, MD, and volunteered for the Outreach Clinic of the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
