A little bit about me...

Hi, my name is Denise Steffel, I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and later moved to Benton Harbor, St Joseph.  I attend Southwest Michigan and St Petersburg College.  I am part of a native American Indian tribe known as “Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians” and have been in the financial industry for the past 35 years.  I have worked at major financial firms such as Raymond James, Apex Clearing, UBS, Bear Sterns, PaineWebber, Prudential Securities.  My experience within the industry has included start-up broker-dealers, working with financial advisors, establishing operations divisions, creating compliance and regulatory adherence programs, and more recently becoming the President of a Fintech broker-dealer firm.  I have sat on many financial industry panels assisting our regulators with implementation of new rules, and industry testing standards.  I also sat on the economic development board for my tribe’s holding company serving as the Vice-Chairwoman.  Holding the position of Vice Chairwomen was such an honor to help our tribal community build diversified revenue streams to provide continued growth for our tribe.  I recently obtained my Real Estate licensee to begin helping our communities around the Bradenton/Sarasota area develop more opportunities for families to get into homes that they can build lasting memories and past down to their family.  In addition, I am going to make a goal to help build opportunities for affordable living for single and smaller families that don’t need large spaces but deserve the benefits of home ownership.  If you’re looking for a friendly, trusting, ethical and goal orientated agent please reach out to me for any of your Real Estate needs.  I will do my best to get you into a home or property of your dreams for you and your family to enjoy and make lasting memories.
